TERMS OF USE

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of mjbcannabis.com, our online menu at shop.mjbcannabis.com and online orders placed with MJB Cannabis ("MJB," "we," "us" or "our"), a licensed non-medical cannabis retail store at 5777 Albert Place, Prince George, BC V2N 4R5. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.
1. You must be 19 or older
Our website, online menu and store are only for adults 19 and older, the legal age for cannabis in British Columbia. By using the website, you confirm that you are 19 or older. Everyone entering our store must show valid government-issued photo ID, and you must show ID again when you pick up an order.
2. Information on this website
Everything on this website, including product descriptions, effects, THC and CBD amounts and FAQs, is general information. It isn't medical advice. Talk to a health care professional before using cannabis if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take medication or have a health condition. Product effects vary from person to person. Always read the product label, start low and go slow, and never drive or operate machinery while impaired.
3. Products, prices and availability
We work to keep our online menu accurate, but stock moves fast. Products, prices, potency and promotions can change without notice, and an item shown online may sell out before you arrive. Photos are for illustration, and packaging may differ. If we've listed a wrong price or description, we may correct it and cancel affected orders, and we'll tell you if we do. Applicable taxes are added at checkout or at the till.
4. Online orders for pickup
- An online order is a request to reserve products for pickup at our store. It's accepted once we confirm it.
- Bring valid government-issued photo ID that matches the name on your order. We can't release an order to anyone else.
- Pick up your order within the time shown in your order confirmation. Orders not picked up in time may be cancelled and the products returned to the shelf.
- Payment is made as shown at checkout, or in store at pickup.
- BC law limits each purchase to 30 grams of dried cannabis or its equivalent. We may change or cancel an order that would go over this limit.
5. When we can refuse a sale
BC law requires us to refuse a sale, or cancel an order, if a customer can't show valid ID, appears to be intoxicated, appears to be buying for someone under 19, or would go over the purchase limit. We may also refuse service to anyone who is abusive or threatening to our staff or customers.
6. Returns and exchanges
For health and safety reasons, all cannabis sales are final once you leave the store. If a product is defective, damaged or subject to a Health Canada recall, bring it back in its original packaging with your receipt, or call us at (250) 964-3665, and we'll replace it or refund you as the law allows. Accessories that are faulty when bought can be exchanged with a receipt.
7. Promotions
Deals and promotions are available while supplies last, can't be combined unless we say so, have no cash value and may end at any time. All promotions follow federal and BC rules on cannabis promotion.
8. Using our website
You agree not to use our website to break the law, to buy for or share cannabis with anyone under 19, to interfere with the website or its security, to copy or scrape its content in bulk, or to post anything false, harmful or offensive.
9. Our content
The MJB Cannabis name, logo, website design, text, photos and artwork belong to MJB Cannabis or the artists and brands who created them, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share our pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use needs our written permission. Product names and logos belong to their brands.
10. Other websites and services
Our website links to services run by others, including our online menu and ordering platform, Google Maps and social media. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we're not responsible for their content or how they work.
11. No guarantees
We work hard to keep the website accurate and running, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will always be available, error-free or secure. To the extent BC law allows, we disclaim all other warranties about the website. This doesn't affect any rights you have under BC's Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act or other laws that can't be waived.
12. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, MJB Cannabis and its owners, staff and suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the website, including loss caused by the website being unavailable or by inaccurate information. Where we are liable, our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
13. Your responsibility
You agree to cover any loss or claim against MJB Cannabis that results from you breaking these Terms or the law while using our website.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of British Columbia.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page, with its effective date, applies to your use of the website. Orders already placed follow the Terms in place when you ordered.
